What's new in 5.0.9?
Tribiq CMS 5.0.9 is suitable as both a complete download or as an update to existing Tribiq CMS users. The latest edition contains both major updates and minor updates to the system, as well as including numerous updates for Enterprise Modules:
Major Updates
- Document Vault - Tribiq CMS now supports document import and management via files and folders on your server. Tribiq CMS can now import documents and other content items that you have uploaded via FTP, SFTP, SSH or any other method. This also allows corporate or enterprise Tribiq users to sync the Tribiq CMS Document Vault with another storage system within your organization's infrastructure, such as a File Server, SAN or NAS.
- Events - The Event Content Type is now fully implemented and is ready to use in both Tribiq Community CMS and Tribiq Pro CMS. The Event Content Type allows your staff to manage a complete calendar system, complete with Month, Day and Event views.
- Picture - The Picture Content Type is now now fully implemented and is ready to use in both Tribiq Community CMS and Tribiq Pro CMS. The Picture Content Type allows a website to generate multiple resolutions for image download from one source (original) image. A group of Pictures can also be displayed in a Gallery (the HTML Gallery template is now bundled with Tribiq Community and Tribiq Pro CMS)
- Categories - Tribiq CMS now supports the use of assigning "Categories" to Content Items. Categories are useful in providing filtered results within the Tribiq CMS Search system. Categories are also useful in providing categorized document lists which automatically update.
- Syncronized Blocks - Shortcuts and Adverts can now be syncronized across multiple blocks within a Tribiq-powered website. Tribiq CMS allows you to select shortcuts and adverts which should update, regardless of which shortcut or advert within a syncronized group is edited.
Minor Updates
- Plug-in Support - Plug-ins are an exciting step forward as they open up the feature expansion of the product to the development community. Whilst the standards of coding security and workmanship will be closely controlled, the imaginative aspect of feature designs will be thrown open to the most inventive minds around.
- Increased Search Engine Optimization Support - Tribiq CMS now supports the use of friendly, textual URLs such as http://mysite.com/features.html, http://mysite.com/download_document.html. Tribiq CMS allows you to customize the style of the rewritten URL. Tribiq CMS now also includes a MetaData Admin Panel, for improved SEO Management.

- Administrator Menu Flexibility - The structure of the Administrators menu has been redesigned to allow for the required flexibility that Plug-in support requires. Developers can now add their own admin tabs and screens to allow administration of their plug-ins
- Language Tab On The Admin Screen - As the level of language support has grow, a Language tab has appeared on the admin menu to support the growing functionality.
- Jump Feature Extended - The Jump To feature in the admin screen has been extended to allow jumps to more pages and in any language installed on the site.
- Shortcut Enhancements - The layout of Shortcuts has been improved so that the page layout is maintained even if the shortcut is currently void of content.
Module Updates
- New - Workflow Module

- New - AVLS Module
The Tribiq CMS Advanced Visitor Language Support Module allows a website to deifne a system of equivilances for the same content items in different languages, providing the best possible experience to website users looking for content in a different language. The AVLS Module also provides support to translators, with a Dual Edit Mode and Export to XML functions.
- Updated - Subscriptions Module
The Subscriptions Module has been updated to provide better user management for Site Administrators.
