Navigation and Adverts

In Tribiq CMS, navigation and site strucutre automatically grows with your website. Tribiq CMS uses Menus for main navigation across your site and for additional links from one page to another it allows you to define Shortcuts. As well as this, Tribiq CMS supports the placement and management of Adverts.

Tribiq CMS lets you work fast, expanding your site and creating its content rapidly. Unlike many other systems, Tribiq CMS is flexible enough to let you have your content structured and linked the way which is right for your website.

  • create menu items and content items simultaneously, with instant child branches so users can find their way through the principal content.
  • additional links can be defined, to create additional "organic" pathways around the site.
  • Dynamic menu shuffle, inline menu item edit, inline menu item delete.
  • Create menuitem-less content with one click
  • Synchronize groups of shortcuts and adverts

Menu Trees

Web sites are most usable when most of their information in a hiererchical structure, but with some navigation being more ad hoc or "organic".

The beauty of hierarchical navigation is this:

A visitor enters at the home page, then sees several buttons leading to the main areas of the site. The visitor can click on a button and "descend" into a chosen area. Then they click again, going into lower levels, going sideways, or going back up to the home page. At every stage in this process the visitor can see exactly where he is.

Tribiq CMS allows you to quickly build a navigation that works just the way your users want to navigate. A menu hierarchy connects the principal pages together. A Menu Editor lets you make changes to the hierarchy, and define what content appears where. There's no limit to the number of levels in the hierarchy. In our Pro edition, Tribiq CMS also supports Menu caching, important for fast response times across large enterprise level websites.

Shortcuts

Tribiq CMS lets you create additional links - Shortcuts - from any internal item to another internal item or an external URL. This helps you link to content that does not fit comfortably within the given menu hierarchy, as well as allowing you to forge additional pathways around the hierarchy. Tribiq CMS also realises that you wish to create content as you grow your website structure, so our system also supports inline Content Creation.

Commonly used on websites as "Featured Items", "Special Offers", "Spotlights" and many more situations - combined with the creativity of your designers and developers - Tribiq CMS Shortcuts deliver a truly unique way of efficient site planning and visitor navigation.

You can even Cut, Copy and Paste Shortcuts to other content items, and our Commercial Editions allow you to keep them in Sync. Now, any time you need to modify any of the properties of a Shortcut or Advert "in Sync", the system will automatically update the appropriate item on every other synchronized page.

This ensures that you haven't left a shortcut or advert to be orphaned whilst saving a great deal of time.

Adverts

Within Tribiq CMS, you can also place Adverts into Shortcut blocks. You can of course create Shortcut Blocks which are specifically designed for Banner Advertisments, vertical or horizontal, Flash or GIF, static or not.

Tribiq CMS will also log a count of each advert hit count, and will also monitor a group of Adverts which you wish to be counted as one. There's no need to install additional advert or statistic monitoring software - Tribiq CMS takes care of it.
